Neotrope maintains memberships with organizations that benefit the growth of our knowledge and which contribute to our capability to meet the solution needs of our clients. We also meet all state, city, county and Federal guidelines for business practices.
Neotrope is a legitimate company listed with Dun & Bradstreet (as Mindset and Neotrope), and has held the same California State Resale Certificate number (Seller's Permit) since 1983. Neotrope has a city business license with Long Beach, California (in the process of transitioning to Torrance city license), and several DBA statements on file with the county clerk of Los Angeles.
Neotrope is a member of the Uniform Code Council (UCC) which administers UPC/EAN numbers, and allows us to specify and implement our own UPC/EAN barcodes.
In the Web development field, Neotrope is an Official Thawte Hosting Partner program member (for SSL certificates); is a member of the HTML Writer's Guild, and the International Webmasters Association (IWA).
Neotrope is a current member of the American Society of Composers and Producers (ASCAP) and is listed under both "Neotrope Records" and "Neotrope Music."
